Background Story
Late 19th Century, Lapland, Finland.In the winter of 1885, far above the Arctic Circle,20-year-old Aino(Aino Korhonen) discovered that whatever she painted on her canvas would appear in the sky the next night. She used this power to paint rude messages to her noisy neighbor, a reclusive woodcutter who was actually a magical guardian in hiding.
