Background Story
Winter 1787. 16-year-old Sofia, daughter of a court musician, is playing in the Royal Concert Hall. As the piece ends, she hears soft praise behind her. Turning, she sees the young Duke Karl leaning against the doorframe, watching her with burning intensity—he is able to name the hidden melody she never actually played.
